The etiology and therapy of the stuttering, support in the development of independent stuttering groups, enlightenment of the public, the communication with the media in order to bring more information and a better picture about the issue to the public, the problems of the teacher – student communication and integration

• from 1986 she was active in organizing the Special Education Club at the Special Education department PdFUP in Olomouc
• from 1988 she is the supervisor of the speech and language counseling center at the special education department
• in 1992 she took part several programs in Lyon ( France), Neuchatel (Switzerland). She keeps in touch with other foreign logopedics groups e.g. with the National Stuttering Project (USA). Stuttering Foundation of America, International Fluency Association (Canada) etc.
• she publishes abroad ( Slovakia, Switzerland, Canada) She translates enlightening and specialized literature ( Stuttering and your child, Self-Therapy for the Stutterer, Une synthese de nos connaissances sur le begaiemant).

doc. PaedDr. Milan Valenta, Ph.D.

Education of people with mental retardation, drama education, Special education diagnostics and drama therapy. He applies creative drama education in the educational processes of mentally retarded students. He is PGS tutor. He organized six seminars about waldorf education and nowadays he is organizing drama courses for teachers working at special facilities. Since 1999 together with Mgr. Muller, Ph.D. they are organizing drama therapy courses for students VSO and for student of healing pedagogy department in Bratislava.

doc. PhDr. Eva Souralová, Ph.D.

Special education of people with hearing impairments. She is responsible for all lessons concentrating on the topic of hearing impairment. She works as a consultant of postgraduate special education students.

doc. Mgr. Kateřina Vitásková, Ph.D.

Special education of people with emotional and behavioral problems.

PaedDr. Vlasta Jonášková, CSc.

Education of people with physical handicap. She specializes on the education of children and teenagers with physical handicaps (e.g. children with poliomyelitis, epilepsy) Further she concentrates on the realization of a rehabilitation subject of communication skills for the physically disabled (e.g. special ways of writing skills, questions connected with the alternative and augmentative communication – Makaton, Bliss system, pictograms) She also concentrates on the usage of the technical equipment while eliminating the architectonic barriers at the University.

PhDr. PaedDr. Olga Krejčířová, Ph. D.

Education of people with mental retardation. She specializes on the professional and esthetical education of people with a mental retardation, special educational methods and the prevention of the negative evidence of children’s behavioral.

Legislation of people with a physical disability, school integration of the handicapped people, emphasis on the relationship between the school and other educational participants.

Mgr. Oldřich Müller, Ph.D.

Special education of the people with mental retardation, emphasis on the alternative approaches (drama as a educational and therapy instrument).

PhDr. PaedDr. Miloň Potměšil, Ph.D.

Deaf/multihandicapped education. Early intervention care. Behavioral management as a part of deaf education. Building up of the communication system in condition of deafness and MH. Sign Language - creation of dictionaries. Research work at the Communication group for Europe - Paris.

PhDr. Marie Renotiérová, Ph.D.

The basic of special education. The questions of the socialization, resocialization, integration. History of the care of disabled, preschool education of disabled children, usage of alternative therapy methods. She also worked at the Kinderschule fur behinderte Kindern.
